Electricity 2008:  Investing in North America’s Electric Future
Convention Highlights

Strong growth in electric use underscores the need to invest in the future of North America’s electric infrastructure – expanding energy supplies and upgrading the transmission and distribution systems are critical.  Edison Electric Institute and Canadian Electricity Association joined to create the most important gathering of electric company executives this year – the EEI Annual Convention/Expo, June 15-17, in Toronto.

The Convention/ Expo offered numerous program choices and networking opportunities:

  • General Session keynote speakers represented top Fortune 100 companies.
  • The Critical Issue Forums offered the opportunity to engage in dialogue with CEOs and senior executives as they tackled some of the industry's most important issues.
  • The Expo was sold out.
  • The Convention/ Expo offered memorable networking events, including the Grand Event.
