Current Openings at EEI

Manager, Customer Markets
Edison Electric Institute (EEI), one of the nation’s premier trade associations, has an exceptional opportunity for a Manager, Customer Markets. The Manager will establish partnerships with major commercial, industrial and governmental customers and help develop programs that assist EEI’s members in the large-customer marketplace. As an example, the Manager will monitor issues pertaining to the Utility Energy Service Contract and help EEI members expand opportunities with federal customers on conservation, energy storage, renewable, distributed-generation and security projects. The Manager will also assist with the National Key Accounts workshops and other meetings, analyze and report regulatory trends, and assist in gaining large-customer support for industry issues. The job requires a BA/BS, preferably in business, economics, engineering or a related discipline. A graduate degree is a plus. The successful applicant will have at least five years of energy-customer experience, preferably in energy management, marketing, or legislative/regulatory issues. A background in national accounts and federal-government energy markets is strongly preferred. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and strategic-thinking skills are essential.

Application Programmer/Analyst
Edison Electric Institute (EEI), one of the nation’s premier trade associations, has a great opportunity for an Application Programmer/Analyst. The Programmer will assist EEI’s business groups by creating and maintaining code and development artifacts (for example, VOPC, sequence diagrams, and ER diagrams). The Programmer will also maintain SharePoint and Database servers and monitor server performance. The job requires 4 – 6 years of experience with C# and ASP.NET, 2 – 3 years of MS SQL development experience, 1 – 2 years of MOSS Administration and Microsoft Workflow Foundation experience, and version control exposure. A BA/BS degree in IS, or equivalent experience, is essential.
