Utility Spectrum Access Meeting
Tuesday, September 09, 2014 - Tuesday, September 09, 2014
Georgia Power Co
241 Ralph McGill Blvd NE Atlanta, GA 30308-3374 UNITED STATES
  • Electric utilities and critical infrastructure need access to radio-frequency spectrum for their wireless networks in order to support reliable operations across very large service territories. Without adequate access to suitable spectrum, America's electric utilities will not have the tools they need to modernize, much less maintain, their networks' high performance, efficiency, resilience, and reliability. The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and Utilities Telecom Council (UTC) are convening a joint meeting, hosted by Southern Company, to discuss an effort to address the utility industry's spectrum needs.
