We are pleased to announce that registration is open for the October 10-12 meeting in Denver, Colorado.  Please contact Michael Buckley if you have any questions about registration or reserving your hotel room.  Our meeting will be at the Grand Hyatt Denver, and we have reserved a block of rooms at the hotel with a discounted group rate.  Meeting information and hotel reservation details are provided below to assist with travel planning and budgeting.  No deposit is required at the time of booking your hotel room so please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.  The meeting agenda is available in the Loss Control Workroom File Cabinet.

  • 10:30 am - Closed Officers meeting
  • 1:00 pm - Closed Utility Member roundtable session
  • 5:00 pm - Hospitality reception with beverages and light snacks, open to all attendees 
October 11, Tuesday
  • 8:00 am - Continental breakfast, provided
  • 8:30 am - Morning session
  • 12:00 pm - Lunch, not provided
  • 1:30 pm - Field trip to the NREL Education Center
  • 5:00 pm - Hospitality reception with beverages and light snacks, open to all attendees
October 12, Wednesday 
  • 8:00 am - Continental breakfast, provided

Meals
Tuesday & Wednesday: Continental breakfast is already included in the event registration fees.
 
 
Hospitality Reception
Following the conference sessions on Monday and Tuesday, there will be a hospitality reception with beverages and light snacks from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Monday's reception will be held in the Crystal Peak C room on the 38th floor of the hotel's 555 building (right across the valet breezeway).  Tuesday's reception will be in the Aspen Pre-function room space, which is on the 2nd floor of the hotel. 
 

Continuing Education
EEI will provide a certificate of attendance for the fall 2016 meeting. Please note that for this event EEI no longer offers CPE credits sponsored by the American Institute of CPAs. The certificate provided by EEI should satisfy the continuing education unit(s) (CEU) requirements for most certifying bodies. For example, a certificate of attendance should be sufficient given the "reasonable proof of attendance/participation" language in the NFPA - CFPS guidance.
 
 
Attire
Business casual to all meeting functions.
 
 
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received on or before Friday, September 16, 2016 will be refunded in full. Cancellations received after that date and on or before Tuesday, October 4, 2016 will be subject to a refund equal to one-half of the registration fee to cover the cost of unfilled function guarantees. Cancellations received after Tuesday, October 4, 2016 will result in a forfeiture of the registration fee. Substitutions are welcome. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted, they must be confirmed in writing via email or mail.
