Conference on Testing
Monday, June 13, 2016 - Wednesday, June 15, 2016
Hyatt Regency Savannah
2 W Bay St Savannah, GA 31401 UNITED STATES
  • The 34th Annual EEI Conference on Testing will be held June 13-15, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Savannah in Savannah, Georgia. The 2016 agenda is packed with sessions designed to provide you with hands-on, practical knowledge invaluable to running a strong employment testing program. This year's guest speakers include Erika Johnson from Caveon Test Security, who will talk about how unscrupulous candidates cheat in this age of modern technology and what we can all do to help stop them; Anne Hirsh from the Job Accommodation Network (JAN), who will discuss the ins and outs of providing reasonable accommodations during the selection process for disabled candidates; and Lawrence Ashe and Paul Barsness from Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs, who, in addition to their regular update on recent developments in employment law, will answer questions about hiring contingent employees (e.g., contractors). This is also the 40th anniversary of the industry's Personnel Research Task Force (PRTF), and we have put together an incredible panel of three speakers who were involved in the founding of the EEI Employment Testing Program. This "living history" panel includes Charlie Black and Dr. Jerry Trexler, two of the first three PRTF Chairs; and Lawrence Ashe, who, remarkably, continues to serve as counsel for the testing program to this day. You will not want to miss this unique opportunity to learn from the pioneers of EEI's Testing Program about how the program was created and the early challenges it faced that helped shape the testing program we all know today. The EEI Conference on Testing also provides you with a tremendous opportunity to network and develop long-term relationships with other professionals who share your interests....and challenges. From the Monday evening reception to the EEI-sponsored meals and breaks to the interactive nature of many of the sessions, you'll have multiple opprtunities to share your knowledge and benefit from others' experiences, so come learn firsthand from your peers what practices work well and which should be avoided. Early bird registration discounts are available if you register by May 3, 2016, as well as discounts on registration fees for multiple attendees from your company. An incredible program has been put together that will more than pay for itself through the skills and knowledge you'll be able to apply back at your company to push your testing program and general hiring efforts forward. See you in Savannah!
