EEI's International Programs has continued to expand its network of industry stakeholders worldwide through its Global Outreach efforts. EEI delivers dozens of briefings, participates in meetings and conferences, and builds relationships with current and new industry partners.

  • September, 2016: International Electricity Summit (IES) in Sintra, Portugal, in partnership with EURELECTRIC, the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA), the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan (FEPC), the Australian Energy Council, and Comision de Integracion Energetica Regional (CIER).
  • July, 2016: 2016 Mexican Energy Forum, held in Mexico City, Mexico.
  • June, 2016: 2016 Africa Energy Forum, where more than 2,000 delegates, 250 speakers, and 11 ministers of energy discussed the merits and complexities of investment opportunities.

    EnAct's Father's Day 'energy wish for every gild in the world campaign.'

    Review of electric company-offered corporate renewable energy products, developed in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the World Resources Institute (WRI) to promote greater customer collaboration.

    GSEP Annual Summit in Beijing, alongside U.S. and international member companies.

    Memorandum of Understanding signed with the China Electricity Council (CEC) to deepen cooperative partnership and promote mutual development between the two organizations and their member companies.
  • May, 2016: CARILEC CEO Conference, alongside several EEI International Member Companies. The conference brought together senior executives from Caribbean electric power companies and industry stakeholders.
  • February, 2016: Briefing on the Evolution of European Electricity Markets and Networks by Pierre Bernard, Chairman & Chief Executive, Friends of the Supergrid, and Managing Partner, Bernard Energy Advocacy.
