EEI is conveniently located at the corner of 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. The Institute is in the heart of downtown D.C., only five blocks from the Capitol.

By Metro

Visitors are encouraged to use Metro, D.C.'s subway system, to reach EEI. The Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter stop on the Yellow and Green Lines is located directly in front of EEI. Visitors coming from northern D.C. or Maryland may elect to use the Red Line, exiting at the Gallery Pl-Chinatown stop and walking south for three blocks on 7th Street. Alternatively, visitors can transfer to the Yellow and Green Lines at Gallery Pl-Chinatown and then exit at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter stop.
