Project Support Group SectionsProject ConsultingThe Project Consulting Section provides project management and business process improvement support services to EEI’s departments, giving them additional resources to more efficiently develop or produce products, initiate and complete projects and develop policy initiatives that advance the corporate goals of EEI and its members. Business InformationThe Business Information Section develops the business information required to support EEI’s public policy and advocacy positions on key industry issues. This section serves as the primary EEI liaison with industry data producing federal agencies (EIA, EPA, FERC’s Information Collection and Assessment Team), related trade associations (APPA, AGA, NAM, NEI, etc.), EEI committees, and database providers. EconomicsThe Economics Section provides analytical economics support for the development of EEI’s policy positions on key industry issues. This section identifies emerging economics issues and industry trends that will impact EEI’s member companies and develops industry public policy positions on identified issues using teams of internal and external economists. IssuesStatistical Information Comprehensive statistics on utility operations and financial performance are also compiled.
