Interconnection

EEI supports a national, standard generator interconnection agreement and interconnection procedures in order to facilitate the development of new generation.  In collaboration with other industry groups, EEI developed the Model EEI Generator Interconnection Procedures and Interconnection Agreement (filed with FERC on Oct. 22, 2001).

FERC has initiated two Rulemaking Proceedings on Generation Interconnection, one for large generators (RM02-1-000) and one for small generators (RM02-12-000).
