Protecting America’s Water: Cleaner and Safer for All

Water is an essential component of electricity production.  The electric power industry uses billions of gallons of water each day to operate fossil, nuclear, and hydroelectric generating plants.  Our industry is partnering with government agencies to minimize adverse environmental impacts and promote the sustainable development of aquatic habitats.  We’re continually looking for new and innovative ways to enhance water quality.
