Industry Accounting and Auditing

Leading initiatives to address emerging accounting issues. Establishing best practices for implementation. Providing industry-specific continuing education opportunities.

• EEI Accounting Leadership
  Producing real results in the development of sound accounting policies for the electric industry. We are actively engaged in advocacy before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  We also coordinate extensively with other industry organizations.
• Professional Development
  As new accounting standards or reporting requirements are adopted, EEI works closely with industry accounting experts to provide implementation guidance in a continuing professional education format.  Find out about Professional Development opportunities in accounting.
