Registration is now open for the summer EEI Taxation Committee Meeting taking place in Madison, WI.

Registration Fee:          $610.00 per registrant
Registration Deadline:    Friday, June 7, 2013

As is customary, there is no registration fee for retirees.

Payment Method:  Online registration is currently accepting payments by credit card. If you are paying by check, please mail the check along with the registration form to EEI by June 7, 2013.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations received on or before FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2013, will be refunded in full.  PLEASE NOTE:  NO REFUNDS will be given after June 7, 2013, to cover the cost of unfilled function guarantees.  Substitutes are welcome. Telephone cancellations will be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing.  

ACCOMMODATIONS - Hotel Cut-off Extended until June 10th!
The Hilton Madison Monona Terrace Hotel has opened the EEI room block for the nights of June 22 - 25.  Reservations will be accepted until Saturday, June 1, 2013.  Note:  Reservations received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space available basis at the group rate. Hotel Cancellation Policy:  Our group has a 48-hour cancellation policy.  Late cancels or “no shows” will be charged one night’s room and tax.  Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 PM.

PRESENTATIONS AND HANDOUTS  
In an effort to be environmentally friendly as possible, we have cut back on the amount of handouts being offered at our conference.  Agenda and  presentations will be made available prior to the conference on the EEI Taxation Committee Meeting web site.  ALL HANDOUTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE BEFORE AND AFTER THE CONFERENCE FOR THOSE WHO NEED A HARD COPY TO PRINT OFF BEFOREHAND OR AFTER THE CONFERENCE.

Monday Group Dinner at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art -- Sponsored by PowerPlan, Inc.    

Opened in April 2006, in a new facility within the Overture Center for the Arts and designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art exhibits modern and contemporary art.  Peruse through the exhibition halls and see paintings, sculpture, photography, prints and drawings by various artists from the 20th & 21st centuries.  Reception and Dinner will be held at the museum’s rooftop sculpture garden which offers outdoor artworks and panoramic views of the Capitol and State Street.

TRANSPORTATION INFO
The Hilton Madison has complimentary shuttle service to and from Dane County Regional Airport.  The hours of operation are 6:30am – 10pm, 7 days a week. You may request a shuttle upon arrival by using the courtesy phone located in baggage claim. Travel time to and from the airport is 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Cab fare is approximately $20 one way.

EEI Discount Travel: Discounts are available to delegates of EEI member companies, international affiliates and associates, as well as to spouses and guests, traveling to EEI-sponsored meetings and conferences: United offers a 5% discount off any published fare or 10% off regular coach fare. Similar discounts are available from Avis. To receive the lowest possible fares, please contact:

CPE INFO:  Recommended CPE credits:  18 Hours; CPE certificates will be distributed at the end of the meeting.

MEMBER PROBLEMS FORM (attached):  Please send the form to Mark Agnew at magnew@eei.org before June 17, 2013.  All member problems submitted will be summarized and provided to the committee prior to the meeting to facilitate a robust discussion.

IMPORTANT TAX INFO
For federal income tax purposes, $380.00 of your registration fee is allocated to meals and entertainment.  This information is being provided to you to comply with the tax reform law requirements.

ATTIRE:  Business casual to all meeting functions including the Monday group dinner.
