The VAT is included in all room rates. The hotel cut-off date is 6 February 2008. EEI does not book sleeping rooms for delegates.

guest registration does not apply to a business colleague. It is for a spouse, fiancé or child.   Guests are permitted to attend social functions but not the general sessions or company visits.

Cancellation Policy -   A $100.00 fee will be charged for cancellations received on or before 16 January 2008. One-half of the registration fee is refundable for cancellations received at EEI from 17 January to 29 February 2008.  No refunds will be made for cancellations received after 29 February 2008. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to EEI by: (1) fax at +1 202 508-5577, or (2) e-mail to cgarvin@eei.org or dhenry@eei.org.  Substitutions are welcome at any time.  There are no exceptions to this policy.  Please contact Charnita Garvin at+1 202 508-5057 or Debra Henry at +1 202 508-5496 with any questions regarding the refund policy.

Who Should Attend

Chief executives, chief financial officers, treasurers and investor relations representatives from the utility industry and members of the financial community.

Purpose

This conference provides a forum for analysts, other investors, and global utility representatives to meet in a common area to exchange information on industry issues and competitive strategies across multiple markets.

Format

The plenary session will take place on Monday and Tuesday morning followed in the afternoons with company visits.

Company Visits

Company visits will be held on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.  Schedule will be published December 15, 2007

Structured 40-minute formal visits (presentations) Structured 40-minute concurrent formal visits (presentations) will be held on Monday from 1:40 to 4:35 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2:10 to 4:20 p.m. p.m. in Ballroom Sections 2 and 3, Wellington Ballroom Section 2, and the Harvest Suite.

Informal visits (table discussions) will be held on Monday from 4:40 – 5:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 4:25 to 5:15 p.m. Each utility company will host a “home table” in Ballroom Section 1, where investors will be able to meet with utility executives on an individual basis.

Airline Information

We have a discount travel program with United Airlines. The airline offers a 5% discount off any published fare or 10% off coach fare for reservations/ticketing made 60 days prior to the meeting. To receive the lowest possible fares, please call 1-800-521-4041 [Refer to File: 556AF].

Ground Transportation

Taxi fare between Heathrow and the London Hilton is approximately £50.

Also, there is train service available between Heathrow Airport and Paddington Station.  The cost of the train is approximately £15. A taxi from Paddington Station to the hotel is approximately £10.

Conference Attire

The attire for registration on Sunday is casual, at all other times the attire for the conference is business.

Shipping

We recommend you arrange to have your meeting materials arrive at the London Hilton no later than Wednesday, March 4, 2008. Please call the London Hilton to confirm the arrival of your materials. 

If you are shipping materials home following the conference, please be you know your Federal Express, DHL, etc. account numbers. We recommend you bring pre-printed labels with you. For shipments outside of the European Union, you will need a commercial invoice  and a ProForma Invoice to accompany your shipment. This document is applicable to US companies only.
