The 2008 EEI Loss Control/Fire Protection Task Force meeting will be held at the InterContinental Miami that will commence Sunday, September 28, 2008. Our meeting will end a day early on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 and in place for the last day we will be holding a National Fire Protection Association Dust Combustible Seminar on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. There is a separate registration for the Seminar. If you are interested in registering for the Seminar, you can access the registration link on the bottom of this page.

Individuals are responsible for making their own room reservation. To do so, please call the InterContinental Miami reservations directly at (866) 577-3753.

Be sure to mention our group name--Edison Electric Institute--to receive the group rate of $169.00 for single or double occupancy (includes internet). This rate does not include state and local taxes.  Group rates will be offered three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the meeting dates.

Reservations must be made on or before the cut-off date of Friday, August 29^th, 2008 (one month prior).

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credits

Access  CPE Credit Recommend. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received on or before September 12, 2008 will be refunded in full. Cancellations received after that date will be subject to a refund equal to one-half of the registration fee to cover the cost of unfilled function guarantees.  Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to EEI at: (1) fax number (202) 508-5542 at the attention of Erin Hailes; (2) or emailed to amorey@eei.org or ehailes@eei.org.

National Fire Protection Association

Register Now for the National Fire Protection Association Dust Seminar that will be held all day on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. The registration fee includes the seminar, breakfast, lunch, and breaks. Please note that there are limited space and registrants will be on a first come first serve basis. If you are not guaranteed a seat, you will be notified and receive a refund.
