Company Visit

Company visits are scheduled on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday morning from 7:30 to 11:55 a.m., Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Formal Presentation Webcasts can also be viewed at your office on Tuesday morning from 7:30 to 11:55 a.m. (Mountain Standard Time)

Attire

Dress for all conference business sessions and social events is business casual. Gentlemen, no ties please!

Hotel Reservations

Access JW Marriott Desert Ridge hotel reservation form.

In the event EEI's room block at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge is sold out,  room reservations will be referred to Marriott at McDowell Mountains and Marriott's Canyon Villas, the conference overflow hotels.  EEI will provide shuttle service between the two hotels.  To avoid double bookings, either e-mail or fax your room reservation, please do not do both.

A guest registration is for a spouse, fiancé, or child not a business colleague or associate.

For federal income tax purposes, $790.00 of the registration fee is allocated for meals and entertainment.  If you register with a spouse/guest, $1,040.00 of the fee is for meals and entertainment.

In the comment section on the registration form, please list any dietary or  special need requirements you may have.

Note:  Please review the information you type on the on-line registration form before you submit it because the details and typing format will appear in the conference directory exactly as entered on the form.  Please do not type information in all capital or all lower case letters.

Cancellation Policy

A $100.00 fee will be charged for cancellations received on or before September 30, 2008. One-half of the registration fee is refundable for cancellations received at EEI from October 1 to October 10. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after October 10, 2008. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to EEI: (1) by fax at +1-202-508-5577; or, (2) by e-mail to dhenry@eei.org or to cgarvin@eei.org.  Substitutions are welcome at any time. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Spouse/Guest Information

Acess the spouses' program.

A registered spouse/guest is welcome to attend all conference functions. A co-worker or an associate is not considered a guest. A spouse/guest must have a name badge to attend conference events.

Education (CPE) Credits

Access CPE Credit information. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 3 CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour.

Discounts are available to delegates of EEI member companies, international affiliates and associates, as well as to spouses and guests, traveling to EEI-sponsored meetings and conferences: United offers a 5% discount off any published fare or 10% off regular coach fare. Taxi
Cab fare between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Marriott Desert Ridge is approximately $50.00. The fare between the airport and Marriott at McDowell Mountains is approximately $40.00.

None of the conference hotels have traditional taxi services all  transportation services are provided by Transtyle.  We recommend you arrange your return trip to the airport upon check-in at the hotel or at least 24 hours prior to your departure with the hotel bell desk, the hotel concierge, or contact Transtyle directly at +1-480-948-6131 or at http://www.transtyle.com 

Shipping Labels

We strongly recommend you arrange to have your meeting materials arrive at Marriott Desert Ridge no later than Thursday, November 6, 2008.  Call the Marriott Desert Ridge Shipping/ Receiving Department at +1-480-293-3764 to confirm the arrival of your shipment.
