EEI Announces Addition of New Members

The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is pleased to announce the addition of a new U.S. member company, Enel Green Power North America (EGP-NA). EGP-NA is a leading owner and operator of renewable energy plants in North America, with projects in 21 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces. EGP-NA owns and operates more than 70 plants with an installed capacity of approximately 1 gigawatt (GW) powered by renewable hydropower, wind, geothermal, solar, and biomass energy. EGP-NA is a subsidiary of EEI International Affiliate member Enel Group, which is the largest utility in Italy. For more information on EGP-NA, visit EGP-NA’s Web site.

The following new Associate members also were approved at last week’s annual EEI Board of Directors meeting: The Babcock & Wilcox Company, BRIDGE Energy Group, Camfil Farr, Comverge, Cooper Power Systems, Edward M. Rahill Consulting, Energate, and PowerLine Services.
