Payment
- Prepaid Orders — Payments must be in US funds and made payable to Edison Electric Institute. Prepayment is required for PDF products and electronic subscriptions.
- Credit Card Orders — Visa, MasterCard and American Express accepted. Account number and expiration date are needed when ordering.
- Purchase Orders — Only EEI Member can place orders with a purchase order. Purchase order number is required at the time of purchase. Order will be invoiced following shipment.
*Appropriate taxes and shipping charges will be added to each order. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Shipping & Delivery
Review the shipping/handling charges on the order form. If an ordered item is temporarily out-of-stock, any in-stock items will be shipped immediately and out-of-stock items will be sent separately upon availability. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Standard Delivery — All EEI orders are shipped via UPS. Please allow two to four weeks for delivery. Delivery cannot be made to Post Office boxes. You will be informed in the event of any undue delay.
- Rush Delivery — Orders must be received by 12:00 noon EST to be shipped the same day. For orders charged to your FedEx account, please apply the standard Postage & Handling charge, plus the $10.00 rush fee. Orders shipped two day, double the appropriate Postage & Handling charge, plus the $10.00 rush fee.
- Electronic Publications — You will receive within three days of receipt of payment an e-mail containing a unique ID/password and instructions for downloading your file(s). Your ID and password will remain active for 10 days after payment is received. Please save a copy of the PDF within that time frame as your ID and password will not be reactivated. If you have not downloaded the file by that time, you will need to purchase another copy by calling 1-800-EEI-5453.
Returns and Refunds
Items in saleable condition may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of shipment date. Videos, computer disks, CDs, and PDF files are not eligible for return or refund. Any items that are shrinkwrapped must be returned unopened.
For credit card payments, a credit will be issued to your account as the merchandise is received. Please allow two (2) billing cycles for credit to appear on your account statement. All other refunds will be made by check in the name of the paying party.
