Edison Award Winners Announced

Today, EEI announced the winners of the 2013 Edison Award, the electric power industry’s most prestigious honor. The Edison Award honors distinguished leadership, innovation, and contribution to the advancement of the industry for the benefit of all.  A panel of former electric company chief executives selected the winners of the 86th annual award from a group of distinguished finalists.

  • American Electric Power received the Edison Award for the company’s completion and commercial operation of the John W. Turk, Jr. Power Plant located in Hempstead County, Arkansas.
