​Emergencies can strike at any time.  Tornados and severe storms, floods, earthquakes, even water-main breaks can affect millions of people for days at a time.  By being prepared, however, you can make sure that you and your family are ready.

This September, Edison Electric Institute encourages you to get prepared by taking part in National Preparedness Month.  Now in its ninth year, National Preparedness Month is a nationwide effort hosted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) Ready Campaign and Citizen Corps.
