Electric utilities in more than a dozen states are working around the clock to restore power to customers who have been impacted by the latest winter storm to bring heavy snow and ice to a large part of the country. After starting in Texas and moving across the South and into the Mid-Atlantic states, the storm continues to work its way up the East Coast into New England.
As is the case with all storms, electric utilities are mobilized and are prepared to respond to any power outages once conditions are safe to do so.
