Dear Representative letter from 10 energy trade associations, representing the electric and natural gas industries, including EEI, sent to all members of the House urging them to oppose any proposed amendments that would undermine the end-user exemption from mandatory clearing and margining requirements in Title III, the "Derivatives Markets Transparency and Accountability Act of 2009," of H.R. 4173, the "Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009."

Comments of the Utility Air Regulatory Group (UARG, including member EEI) on EPA's "Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD): Proposed Reconsideration of Interpretation of Regulations That Determine Pollutants [including GHGs] Covered by the Federal PSD Permit Program" (Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2009-0597; 74 Fed. Reg. 51535, Oct. 7, 2009).

EEI comments on the lnternational Accounting Standards Board (IASB) Exposure Draft (ED), proposing an lnternational Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) that addresses the issue of the appropriate accounting for rate-regulated activities.

Comments of the Utility Air Regulatory Group (UARG, including member EEI) on the "Particulate Matter Urban-Focused Visibility Assessment—External Review Draft" (September 2009) regarding EPA's national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) (Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2007-0492; 74 Fed.
