Protecting the health and
safety of our employees, member company employees, and customers is-and always
has been-EEI’s top priority. Given the growing concerns about the novel
coronavirus (COVID 19) and the increased impact it is having on some communities,
we have decided to cancel the EEI/AGA Spring Accounting Conference scheduled
for May 17-20, 2020 at the Grand Hyatt Denver in Denver, Colorado.
We truly value your support
of EEI and your interest in attending our meetings, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
We plan to evaluate other opportunities, such as webinars and other outreach,
in the short-term to ensure we can continue to serve our member companies and
our customers. Additionally, we will work with each committee’s leadership
to explore other potential options.
This was a difficult
decision, but we feel it is best to err on the side of caution as this
situation rapidly evolves. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing
support.
EEI will begin the process of
refunding registration fees, including the $100 administrative fee for anyone
that previous cancelled their registration, and Sponsor fees. Please be
patient with us while we work through the process of making these refunds.
We have notified the hotel of
the cancellation of this conference. Please contact the hotel to cancel
your room reservation by calling (303) 436-1234. Also, please cancel your
other travel arrangement. Again – sorry for the inconvenience.
