  • The FERC Accounting & Reporting Workshop will be held at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel on September 17, 2018.  The room block rate for the Workshop is $169/night.  Rates are subject to occupancy tax. You can reserve a room for the conference under our room block using this link to the hotel website.  The cut-off date for reserving rooms under the room block is Monday, August 27, 2018.

    Room reservations can also be made directly with the hotel reservation department at (773) 380-9600. To qualify for the special group rate, you will need to identify yourself as attending the Edison Electric Institute’s meeting.

    Bus/Shuttle from O’Hare Int’l Airport: From your gate go to Baggage Claim.  Follow the signs labeled “Bus/Shuttle Center” to the nearest underground pedestrian walkway.  In the elevator press the Bus/Shuttle Center button.  Once in the center, wait by Door 2.  The vans arrive every 30 minutesbetween 6:00am-11:00pm.  Beyond then, to request pickup, please call the hotel at 773/380-9600***Please note when guest arrive in the International Terminals and need shuttle transportation they must call for pick-up the shuttle bus does not run in that area, guests may utilize the courtesy phone at 5E and a
  • The workshop is a unique opportunity for training on FERC accounting and reporting requirements specific to the electric and gas utility industry.  The workshop is designed to appeal to both experienced and novice member company employees that need to understand and apply FERC accounting and reporting requirements.

  • The registration fee for the workshop is $550 for EEI/AGA members and $575 for non-members which includes:


    §  Networking reception on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm

    §  Breakfast on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:00 am

    §  Workshop on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

    §  Lunch on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm


    In order for your name and contact information to be included in the printed workshop materials, you must register to attend the workshop by Monday, September 3, 2018. Anyone registering after that date may not appear in the printed workshop materials.
  • Registration fees will be refunded minus a $100.00 administration fee if notification of cancellation is received in writing no later than September 3, 2018. No refunds will be made after that date. Substitutions are welcome.
