  • This conference is open to committee members of EEI and AGA.  Typical members attending this conference include Chief Audit Executives and other senior internal audit directors and managers.  Members represent all regions across the United States and include a variety of business models encompassing fully integrated regulated utilities, multi-entity holding companies, and diversified energy operations.

    In order for your name and contact information to be included in the conference materials distributed to the conference attendees, you must register to attend the conference by May 25, 2018.

  • Monday Evening Reception and Dinner at the Mill City Museum

    All registered guests are invited to attend the Monday evening reception and dinner that will capture the history and spirit of Minneapolis at The Mill City Museum, a Minnesota Historical Society museum.  Built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill, Mill City Museum is located on the historic Mississippi Riverfront and offers stunning vistas of the river and a glimpse into the history of a city, an industry, and a nation.

    We will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres overlooking the historic ruins of the Washburn "A" Mill and the Ruins Courtyard.  Step inside to the Mill Commons and Rail Corridor for dinner and socializing with colleagues.  Throughout the evening, tour the museum and learn about the intertwined histories of the flour industry, the river, and the city of Minneapolis.  Bus transportation to and from the event will be provided.

    Tuesday Afternoon Golf Tournament at Hiawatha Golf Course

    Our annual tournament will be held at the historic Hiawatha Golf Course on Tuesday, June 12 at 1 p.m.  Please indicate your handicap or average score when registering.  Your registration includes lunch, transportation, greens fees, range balls, and cart.

    The 2018 EEI/AGA Chief Audit Executives Conference will be held at the Loews Minneapolis Hotel on June 10-13, 2018.  Our hotel is centrally located in the theater district near many restaurants and the newly renovated Nicollet outdoor pedestrian mall.

    The room block rate for our conference is $195/night plus taxes for a single or double standard room.  If you would like to avail yourself of the opportunity to explore this unique, diverse city, our room block rate is available three days before and after the conference, subject to hotel availability.  
    You may use this link to make your hotel reservation now.  The cut-off date for reserving rooms under the room block is Friday, May 25, 2018. Reservations after this date are subject to availability at the existing hotel rate. You are encouraged to reserve your room as soon as possible since the hotel expects to be sold out on some of the days of the conference and the hotel has advised us that we will not be able to add rooms to our room block.

  • Business casual attire is the preferred attire for EEI and AGA business sessions and social functions.

    Please note that meeting room temperatures are generally cool and difficult to moderate – please bring appropriate attire for such conditions.
