Global Electrification Forum
Wednesday, April 11, 2018 - Wednesday, April 11, 2018
Edison Electric Institute
701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Washington, DC 20004-2696 UNITED STATES
  • The 2018 Global Electrification Forum's theme is “Accelerating Change, Increasing Expectations, and Finding Growth in Times of Uncertainty.”

Last year, the global electricity sector became the largest recipient of energy investment for the first time ever. From transportation to heating, end-use appliances and industrial processes, electrification is transforming our economies and our ways of life, and in doing so, producing new business opportunities, cost savings, and environmental benefits.

The  Forum will provide an opportunity for CEOs and senior executives to discuss how electrification is being harnessed to deliver growth, mitigate risk, add value to customers, and improve systems planning and operations. Participants will exchange views on recent developments in regional electricity markets, near-term opportunities for economy-wide electrification, emerging technologies, and new approaches to customer engagement, finance, and regulation.

This is an invitation-only event expected to convene approximately 120 electric company CEOs and senior executives, as well as thought leaders from affiliated partner institutions.

The Forum will be held on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 in Washington, D.C. at EEI's headquarters located at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington D.C., 20004 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
