GridTalk Webinar
Thursday, May 23, 2019 - Thursday, May 23, 2019
Edison Electric Institute
701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Washington, DC 20004-2696 UNITED STATES
  • Electric companies play an essential role in furthering the adoption of energy storage, as electric companies are in a unique position to maximize the value of energy storage for the benefit of all electric customers. Currently, electric companies own, operate, or utilize more than 98 percent of active energy storage projects in the United States. Yet, in some jurisdictions, electric companies are prevented from owning or operating storage. EEI recently authored a white paper to make the case for energy storage ownership and operation by electric companies.

Please join us for a discussion of this paper, Electric Companies Help Maximize the Benefits of Energy Storage, with Olga Chistyakova, Manager of Clean Energy, who will identify the key takeaways from the paper and distill the arguments supporting electric company ownership and/or operation of energy storage.

REGISTRATION: You may register for the webinar here.  Registration confirmation receipts with login details will be sent to the email address of the registrant immediately after signup.
