    Discussion topics:  This webinar will address updates and hot topics related to derivatives and hedge accounting.  Topics include COVID-19 impacts on derivatives and hedging, a summary of notable hedge accounting impacts under ASU 2017-12 and an update on SEC and FASB directives and discussions. 

    Who should attend:  Individuals from energy companies focused mainly on the accounting for physical and financial contracts.  This may include those new to the industry and to energy contracts, financial analysts, controllers or other senior accounting personnel. 

    CPE will be offered by EY (see important note at the bottom of this page about CPE).  There is no cost to attend.

    Please submit any topic questions in advance jmartin@aga.org, rhartman@eei.org or glen.hecht@ey.com.    We will address many of your questions during the webinar and the remainder via follow-up communications.    A follow-on webinar will be scheduled in the fall.

    If you experience technology problems during the webcast, try these actions:

    1. Make sure your computer speakers are turned up and/or not on "mute."
    2. If the Audio Broadcast floating toolbar does not appear, click the Communicate drop-down from the menu at the top of your screen, then select Audio Broadcast.
    3. If you are on a wireless connection, switch to a wired connection.
