GridTalk Webinar
Thursday, May 24, 2018 - Thursday, May 24, 2018
Edison Electric Institute
701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Washington, DC 20004-2696 UNITED STATES
  • Dr. Shay Bahramirad, Director of Distribution System Planning, Smart Grid and Innovation at Commonwealth Edison, will join us for a discussion about the company’s forthcoming Bronzeville Microgrid Project. The $25 million project, which was recently approved by the Illinois Commerce Commission, will enable the study of the ways in which microgrids support the integration of distributed energy resources and increase energy grid resiliency during extreme weather events and other times of need.

John Caldwell, Director of Economics at EEI, will moderate the discussion and provide some insights into the work that EEI is doing on microgrids.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: GridTalk Webinars are intended as educational opportunities for EEI member company employees from all parts of their organizations – including those in government and regulatory affairs, communications, legal, and investor and customer relations offices. Please share this invitation with interested colleagues so they can be included in this, and future, conversations.
