GridTalk Webinar
Thursday, June 27, 2019 - Thursday, June 27, 2019
Edison Electric Institute
701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Washington, DC 20004-2696 UNITED STATES
  • Please join us for EEI’s monthly Grid Talk Webinar on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm ET!

Electric transmission is the backbone of the nation’s energy grid enabling the integration of more renewable energy resources to deliver clean energy to customers; enhancing the reliability and resiliency of the grid; enabling the deployment of new technologies; optimizing grid performance; and lowering the cost of delivering energy by reducing congestion, all which help to keep electricity bills low for customers. Earlier this year, EEI released “Smarter Energy Infrastructure: The Critical Role and Value of Electric Transmission” which expands upon the value provided by industry investment in transmission in meeting evolving customer needs and expectations.

Please join us for a presentation of the report by Karen Onaran, EEI’s Senior Manager of Federal Regulatory Affairs, who will highlight the benefits of transmission investment and the importance of stable and supportive transmission policies.

We hope you’ll be able to join us!

REGISTRATION: You may register for the webinar here. Registration confirmation receipts with login details will be sent to the email address of the registrant immediately after signup.
